2 year old neutered male available

Rocky
This boy has a very sweet temperament with people but is a little dominate with other dogs.
He would do best as an only dog in the home. He is very active and athletic, would be a good
dog to run with, do agility with, or any activity but he will do best to stay active.
Up to date on shots and heartworm.

We have some wonderful healthy, spayed/neutered, active older dogs who are house broken,
up to date on shots, and would love to be the center of someone's world for the remainder of their lives.
If you might be interested in giving one of these older dogs a good home,
please contact us for more details.

Here are some reasons why you should think about adopting an older dog:

  1. Senior pets tend to appreciate the love and care of their owner and the fact that they have been given another chance at happiness.  This is your chance to give them joy, and to get that joy back tenfold.

  2. Older dogs  do not generally require as much attention and care from you and are less demanding then young dogs or pups.  A shorter walk in the woods becomes more preferred than a two hour jog around the fields.

  3. Older dogs are often trained to behave in the house and get into much less mischief then young dogs and puppies.

  4. Older dogs are easy to assess for behavior and temperament to best fit your lifestyle.

None of our older dogs are being made available for adoption because of "problems" either health or behavioral. We simply understand that the seniors deserve to live as cherished and pampered house pets. It is impossible for us to provide that kind of life for all of them given our chosen lifestyle. We would never ask anyone to take on an older dog with either serious health problems or behavioral issues.
